As much as I love my go-to Honey Vanilla Iced Matcha, I’m on a mission to mix things up this summer. Starting with this Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte. It comes together super fast if you happen to prep a batch of strawberry syrup in advance.

You saw this coming, didn’t you?

Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte Ingredients

  • Strawberry Syrup– Prepping strawberry syrup in advance helps your matcha come together fast when you’re ready to drink. I recommend blending the strawberries for a thicker syrup when using it for matcha lattes. If you don’t want to make the syrup, you can also muddle a small handful of strawberries in a saucepan with a few teaspoons of honey, a splash of non-alcoholic vanilla and a light squeeze of lemon juice.
  • Almond Milk– I personally prefer almond milk for my matcha lattes as I find it lets the flavor of the matcha shine. That said, oat milk, coconut milk and even soy milk are great alternatives. Feel free to use whatever milk you prefer!
  • Matcha– Using a high-quality ceremonial grade matcha is key for best results. My favorite brand is Pique because I love that each serving is individually packaged for optimum freshness. Pique is also certified organic and 3rd party tested for heavy metals, toxic mold and pesticides. This is not sponsored- just a product I genuinely use and enjoy.

How to Make A Strawberry Iced Matcha Latte

  1. Add 1 to 2 ounces of strawberry syrup to a glass. Add ice then pour in 6 ounces milk.
  2. Whisk 1 teaspoon matcha in 2 tablespoons of warm water until smooth. Pour over milk.
  3. Serve and enjoy!

What if I Don’t Have Strawberry Syrup Prepared?

  1. In a small saucepan, warm a handful of chopped strawberries (about 3-4 berries, depending on their size) of medium-low heat. Add a splash of non-alcoholic vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of honey. Cook until the honey has melted in with the berries.
  2. Squeeze in a small wedge of lemon juice then transfer to your glass the same as you would the syrup.
