In a 12-ounce glass, add 1 to 2 ounces of strawberry syrup. Top with a handful of ice then pour in 6 ounces milk.
In a small bowl, whisk 1 teaspoon matcha with 2 tablespoons of warm water until smooth. Pour over milk. Serve and enjoy!
Without Strawberry Syrup
In a small saucepan, warm a handful of chopped strawberries (about 3-4 berries, depending on their size) of medium-low heat. Add a splash of non-alcoholic vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of honey. Cook until the honey has melted in with the berries. Squeeze in a small wedge of lemon juice.
Transfer berries to a 12-ounce glass (the same as you would the syrup). Add ice and milk then top with matcha. Serve and enjoy!
