Healthy Recipes Made with Canned Beans

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of using canned beans in my recipes. They’re affordable, convenient, and packed full of nutrition. I always make sure to have a variety stocked in my pantry although as of late I’ve been running a little low. It seems everyone else is just as interested in them as I am these days which makes me happy because I know how healthy they are. That’s truly all I hope to accomplish with my site…to see you all eating delicious plant-based meals that make you feel good from the inside out.

With that in mind, I put together a list of some of our favorite recipes using canned beans. I categorized them by the type of bean so you can find something specific to what you have on hand. You’ll find plenty of one-pot meals, veggie burgers, meatless ‘meatballs’, soups, chili, enchiladas, and a few casseroles. I also included lentils because I do have a few options that call for cooked lentils so you can easily swap in the canned variety.
