Peanut Butter and Jelly Hemp Seed Smoothie
It’s peanut butter-jelly time!!
I was really tempted to type out the lyrics of that song but it’s Friday so I guess I’ll spare you the torture. If you’ve never heard it then you can watch it here but I have to warn you- it’s scarred me for life. Same with Red Solo Cup. Once they got stuck in the brain, there was no turning back!
Instead of taunting your brain with annoying music, how about feeding it with a creamy smoothie?
Each one is full of healthy omega fats and protein from the peanut butter and hemp seeds, as well as antioxidants from the frozen berries.
I’ve been on a hemp seed kick for a while now and they’re a great addition to smoothies. If you haven’t tried them yet then this is the perfect recipe to start with!
Peanut Butter and Jelly Hemp Seed Smoothie
Yield: 16 ounces
Prep Time: 5
Total Time: 5

Ingredients:
- 1 cup frozen berries
- 1/2 peeled frozen banana
- 2 cups vanilla almond milk
- 1-2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
Directions:
- Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth.

I honestly haven’t noticed a difference since I added it but I think it’s easier for people to navigate to different posts if they’re not interested in that current one.

I see hemp seeds at the store all the time, but I haven’t been brave enough to pick them up yet. I might just have to buy some so I can make these amazing sounding smoothie! I don’t eat peanut butter and jelly that often, but when I do it always takes me back to my childhood and I remember that I love it! I want this smoothie right now!

This smoothie looks awesome. I bought a bag of hemp seeds but have been waiting to open it until after I finish my bag of chia seeds! I only have about a tablespoon left so soon! Soon!

I’m just back from my bike ride in the sun (it was sooo how ahhh) and I don’t think I’ve ever craved anything more than I’m craving this smoothie now #fact. It looks so refreshing!

Delicious. I had only ground flax/chia seeds instead of hemp and it worked very well too.
