It completely baffles me how people can feel that depth of hatred, much less be capable of acting on it. We live in such a beautiful world, and I hope human kind can stop committing these awful acts so that we can all enjoy what we have without fear. Thank you for voicing your sentiments on what happened in Brussels. Ultimately, education and communication are the only tools we have to end violence, so the more we discuss it, the better. xo.
Terrorism is something I’ll never understand….I just wish we could all mind our own business and get along. So many people losing loved ones makes me so sad….

I so agree – I just don’t understand why people do the things they do. Breaks my heart.

I totally get you, Sarah. Every time something like this happens (and unfortunately it’s become far too often), my heart just sinks into my stomach and a million questions run through my head. It makes you hug your loved ones a little closer, and of course share good food and good times with them. Loving all the greens and fresh produce here, can’t wait to see these pop up at my farmers’ markets!
I hear you friend, it’s hard to grasp how some people have so much hatred in their hearts.
These recipes sound wonderful! Spring is such a lovely time for foodie adventures.
