Glowing Green Smoothie Bowl
Glowing Green Smoothie Bowl- a tropical blend of mango, pineapple, banana, carrots, and kale. Packed full of vitamins and minerals to keep your skin glowing through winter!
Well you guys, it’s official. I’m addicted to green smoothies.
I’ve always loved them but was never the person who drank one every morning. “It’s too cold outside” and “I don’t feel like cleaning the blender”, were often my go-to excuses. But then when I started adding MegaFood’s Nutrient Boosters along with a couple of other whole food goodies (like almond milk yogurt and hemp seeds), I got hooked on how good I felt drinking them first thing in the morning.
It really does set a positive tone for the day when you start off with so many healthy nutrients!
Another part of my morning routine is taking my MegaFood Multi for Women. I’m super excited to be continuing my partnership with them in 2017 because I truly love their brand and everything they stand for.
This year they’ve launched a program called the MegaPledge in efforts to help improve nutritional poverty. For every person that pledges to take a MegaFood Multi, they will donate one bottle of multivitamins to someone in need. Plus they’ll also donate to Wholesome Wave, a non-profit organization that empowers under-served consumers to make healthier food choices by increasing affordable access to fresh, local food. With every pledge, 2 servings of fruits and veggies will be donated!
In addition to giving back, they’re also rewarding the first 20,000 pledgers a $5.00 off coupon plus a chance to win a year supply of multis and an amazing wellness getaway. How cool is that?!
MAKE THE PLEDGE
If you’re up for taking the pledge you can do so by clicking here. I hope you’ll take part in this wonderful movement for your own health and for those in need!

I am definitely a green smoothie addict! haha I always feel not as great when I don’t have one for some reason! Love this flavor! I’ll take one right now please and thank you!
It’s a good addiction to have, right? ;)
Cleaning the blender is always my excuse too, but green smoothies are definitely delicious. I’m really into the Suja green juices, too. I have a juicer, but again, cleaning it is such a chore!
I used to want a juicer so bad but I’m kind of glad I never got one because I’d probably use it twice and then put it under the cabinet, lol.
Looks yummy… When the weather gets hotter! When it’s cold outside, I like to put something warm inside, and when it’s hot outside, I like to put something cold inside! Maybe that’s just me. Anyway, a few years ago I read somewhere about the EASIEST/FASTEST blender clean up ever and it really is a game changer. When you are done using the blender, Magic Bullet etc., just add a few drops of dish soap to the blender, add some water and blend away for a few seconds. The blender does the clean up work for you, and you just have to rinse the container out well with clear water and you are done. The caveat is, you need to do this soon after you are finished using the blender, otherwise the leftover blender ingredients, as we know, stick to the sides of the container and it truly becomes a hot mess to clean!
I love that tip, Jerilyn! Thank you so much for sharing. Hopefully you get a chance to try the smoothie when it’s warm again. :)
Yummmm I love smoothies so much! I drink them probably 5x a week and love to switch up what healthy whole food ingredients I throw in there. Banana is my one almost constant – makes smoothies so nice & creamy!
The color of this smoothie is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! SO green and bright!! :D
Green smoothies are the best addiction EVAH! You get soooo much nutrition in one sitting. I’m digging your mega booster approach as well – such a brilliant way to take in alll the nutrients. I take MegaFood’s women’s one a day multi-vitamin, but you’ve been inspiring me to try their other nutritious products as well. THIS SMOOTHIE BOWL LOOKS AMAZING!
Yayaya YOU Sarah! On the smoothie train! When I first learned about green smoothies, thinking about drinking one on a cold morning didn’t excite me either. But then I jus started. They make me feel energized and like I started the day doing something extra good for myself! Thank you for sharing the challenge.. I’ll take it! And this bowl, Sarah! It is so vibrant and nourishing. I love adding pineapple and banana to my smoothies too.. gives it that balance that’s needed with so many greens in there! Delicious! :D
I just found MegaFood Multis for Women at my local health food store and have been taking them now for about 3 weeks — I finally feel like I have a good multivitamin! I took the pledge and think this is such a wonderful cause. I love green smoothies and need to make them more often — they would make my day start off so much better! This looks so refreshing and delicious.
Yay! I’m so happy you like the multis! I gave my mom a bottle for Christmas and she said she feels so much better now that she’s taking them. They really are the best out there!
