Morning Rounds Muesli French Toast + Noonday Style Launch Party
Happy Monday! How was everyone’s weekend?
The weather here was ridiculously beautiful and our rose bushes seemed to have burst into full bloom overnight!
This color in particular is my favorite:
The girls also enjoyed the weather and sunbathed on our deck for a while…
We started our Saturday morning with some delicious French toast that I made using Ozery Bakery’s Muesli Morning Rounds.
They sent me a package of each flavor that they offer which includes Muesli, Apple Cinnamon and Cranberry Orange.
I used the Muesli flavor for my French toast which are made with raisins, multi-grain flour, oats, apples and sunflower seeds.
I dipped them in a batter of two whole eggs, 1/2 cup almond milk and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, sprinkled them with cinnamon and cooked them in a frying pan for about 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
Garnished with strawberries and topped with warm maple syrup…BAM!
A quick and delicious breakfast!
I really enjoyed how thick and fluffy they were and thought they made great French toast.
Of all three, my favorite kind was the Cranberry Orange.
The flavor in these was just right without being too sweet. I could have eaten them for dessert, they were so good!
I also like that I can understand the ingredient list and there isn’t anything crazy in them!
Plus, there are only 160 calories and 5 grams of sugar per round.
Overall, they tasted great, had perfect texture, and made an incredibly easy option for breakfast.
That said, I personally try to buy products with whole grain flour as the first ingredient which none of these had. But, if they made them completely whole grain then they would make a perfect everyday option for me. Otherwise, I would still eat them as an occasional treat such as Saturday morning French toast!
Later on in the day, I made the trip over to Jenna’s house for the Noonday Style Launch Party.
I had already perused the website before hand and loved that the items they offer are not only incredibly unique, but they also provide opportunities for women across the world living in poverty to feed their families or to buy certain medications that they may need to stay healthy.
Jenna was a great hostess and had a scrumptious collection of finger foods and wine for us.
My favorite were the roasted sweet potato wedges with lemongrass crème fraîche. They were to-die-for!
Her apartment also had an amazing view with some seriously fresh air from all of the gorgeous trees everywhere.
Not too shabby, huh?
I didn’t take too many pictures of the party as it wasn’t really that kind of atmosphere, but I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting Jenna (and Dexter!).
She’s just as sweet in person as she is on her blog and her food actually tastes as good as it looks in her amazing photos.
The accessories I bought at the party should be coming in the mail after a week or so and I’ll be sure to share what I bought on here in case you are interested in getting something. You can also check out their website (Noonday Style) if you want to take a look around.
And, if you live in the Bay area and are interested in hosting a trunk party at your house, you can contact Jenna through the link above to set one up.
I would love to host one at my house but Gigi is not a fan of having people over unless they are sitting down which complicates things a bit.
Good thing she’s cute!
What is your favorite bread to use for French toast?
Have you ever hosted a trunk show or launch party at your house?
**Disclaimer: Although Ozery Bakery provided me with free samples of their product to try, I was not compensated for this review. All of the feelings and opinions I share in this post are entirely my own.
I love the flower and puppy pictures :) I don’t think I have ever made french toast but my mom makes an amazing french toast with homemade cranberry orange bread she gets at their local farmers market.
Ugh, that sounds SO good! I wish I would have used the Cranberry Orange for French toast but I ate them all before I got around to it! :)
What a fun party! I’ve never hosted a truck show but the few that I’ve attended have always been such lovely events. My favorite french toast bread is challah. It’s so thick and fluffy it just melts in your mouth.
MMM, I’ve never tried challah French toast but that does sound good!
Ahh your pups are so adorable! My dog likes to sunbathe too! :) love French toast, especially when made with flavorful breads. I once had French toast made with pumpkin bread.. It was incredible!
I am glad you had a fun time at Jenna’s party, I will definitely be checking out the noonday website! :)
Oh my gosh, pumpkin bread is one of my all time favorite things so I know it would be incredible as French toast. Be prepared to be tempted by Noonday’s website! They have some great stuff!!
Cutest dogs ever, and your flowers are looking gorgeous!! Those buns look amazing as well, I just wanna tear into that plate of french toast!
Haha, they didn’t last very long after the photo I took. :)
Those roses are absolutely gorgeous! I want your backyard :) And how cool is it that you were able to meet Jenna??! I’m super jealous and can’t wait to see your accessories!
You can move in if you bring me some patio furniture! It is sin to live here and not have patio furniture but we still haven’t got around to it yet. Jenna was so nice and I am so excited about what I got! :)
Fun! I can’t wait to see your accessories! I actually used to sale jewelry and accessories through Park Lane and loved the house parties!
Those rounds look yummy!
Noonday is actually based out of Austin! You can check out the website to see about hosting a party there if you’re interested. You get free jewelry and also a portion of the sales if you are an ambassador. Might be worth looking into if you have a lot of girlfriends who love shopping! :)
Ah, how lucky you are to go to her trunk show! I have been eyeballing a lot of the jewelry online and am contemplating getting some. Her house looks lovely too :) Hmm, I wonder if she would come to the South Bay . . .
Okay, those Morning Rounds look yummy. I like how you made one into French toast. I haven’t had one in a while. If I see these rounds at the store I’ll be sure to pick some up and try them. :)
I’m sure she would come to the south bay! You should totally host one! The rounds were really good. If you check their website, they sell them at a bunch of stores around here such as Whole Foods.
Mmm that french toast looks yummy!! I typically like to use brioche or banana bread for french toast but definitely would not be opposed to a healthier version :) Looks like a fun party! Can’t wait to see what you bought :)
Hi Sarah, It was fun meeting you at Jenna’s party, that’s me from the neck down , in your pic, behind the food, of course I’m hanging around the food :-)!
I told Jenna I want to host a Noonday event when she gets back from her honeymoon.
Do you live in the East Bay? I live in Danville, maybe we could co-host at my house, my dog loves parties!
I have been wearing my Noonday necklace, made from recycled bullets, a lot, and love to tell its story.
Great post/blog, count me in as a new reader!
Best, Judith
Hi Judith! That’s too funny that my picture of the food has you in the background, lol! Jenna’s food was amazing. It was great meeting you too and I’d love to help you host a party. I live about 20 minutes from Danville so that would be perfect, we’ll have to keep in touch! :)
