Superseed Cinnamon Raisin Granola
Say hello to the best granola everrrrrrr. I know, I’ve gone on and on about my other granola recipes but this one, it takes the cake.
The cinnamon raisin flavor is absolutely irresistible and it’s packed full of nutritional seeds like hemp, chia, sunflower, pumpkin, and ground flax. PLUS it’s gluten-free, nut-free and vegan which means pretty much anyone can eat it. #winningingredients
That was a World Cup reference, for those of you who haven’t been paying attention to it. Actually I wasn’t paying attention to it either until this weekend when Brandon hijacked the remote and you know, it was kind of exciting! I found myself yelling at the television and then cheering when we scored.
I also had to make fun of that Ronaldo guy because he obviously waxes his eyebrows. A little man grooming here and there is okay but your eyebrows shouldn’t look better than mine. Come on, that’s not cute.
Getting back on track, let’s talk about this granola, shall we?
Besides a healthy dose of superseeds {like superfood? I just made that up}, what makes this one so good is the corn flakes. They’re like little golden caves for all of the other ingredients to burrow themselves into.
Each crunchy flake ends up lightly coated in agave nectar and coconut oil which then causes the cinnamon, oats and seeds to stick, making for delightful chunks with every bite. Then the subtle sweetness from the raisins really takes it over the top.
If all of that isn’t reason enough to make it, it also makes your house smell incredible. You’ll have everyone popping into the kitchen to see what you’re up to!
You might not be seeing another granola recipe around here for a while because it’s going to be hard for me to resist making this one over and over again. It’s really that good.
Ingredients
1 cup corn flakes
1 and 1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup flax meal
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup agave nectar
1/2 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the corn flakes, oats, hemp seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds then stir to combine.
- Next, add the flax meal, cinnamon and sea salt, then pour in agave and coconut oil and stir until ingredients are evenly coated.
- Spread the mixture onto the cookie sheet in a uniform layer and then bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
- Once it’s done cooking, remove from the oven and allow to cool for another 30 minutes. Transfer granola to a large bowl then add raisins and stir to combine. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Notes
*Be sure to use certified gluten-free products, if necessary
**Feel free to substitute more of one seed if you don't want to use so many different kinds
Oh my goodness that looks *so* yum! I’ve been planning for a week or more to make granola and this has tipped me over the edge – delicious :D
OMG Nick is obsessed with the World Cup right now, he’s been getting up at 2am and 4am to watch games so yes I got your reference!
This granola looks so toasty and delicious. I’ve really been getting back into having granola lately too so must try this.
I didn’t catch your World Cup reference haha Miguel’s obsessed and I’m just sorta like meh. Sometimes I wish I was more sporty. As for the granola–YUM. I love me a good granola recipe.
Homemade granola is the best, and I’m loving the use of corn flakes here. Such an awesome idea!
Ronaldo totally waxes. When Riley told me he was the most-talked-about hot guy of the world cup, I didn’t believe him, because he’s way too pretty-boy for my taste.
Loving this combo- I seriously need to motivate myself to make homemade granola!
This looks gorgeous, lady! And I’m loving all the different textures and flavours going on. Pinned and link loved :)
This looks so incredible! I bet those cornflakes make it irresistibly crunchy. Will you judge me if I add some chocolate chips?
ALSO. Yes, those eyebrows. I was definitely questioning his grooming practices. I’m also not a huge sports fan, but I’ve loved keeping tabs on this year’s world cup. Maybe it’ll be a new thing?
I am always looking for new granola recipes- I hate the store bought ones! Thanks for this, can’t wait to try it!
Love all the superseeds… and cornflakes! Will have to give this one a try!
Not only do I love the sound of this granola, I love the cute jar you put it in!
Looks so good, and most importantly, easy to make! I had the exact same sequence of events as you did regarding the world cup. Didn’t pay attention at first, got into it because it’s been on a lot at our house, screamed at the TV, noticed Renaldo’s eyebrows. :)
Granola is a definite weakness of mine!!
Too funny about Ronaldo… I said the same thing! They look ridiculous! I am so not a chick who digs men that do feminine things like over-manicure their eyebrows and make them too skinny. He also makes lots of pouty whiney faces at the refs! Hehehe.
My son is obsessed with the World Cup. He is watching every game. He has them on the DVR so he can still sleep in and not miss anything :D
This granola looks so good. I love that you used cereal flakes
This looks delicious! So different too than the granola we usually make – how fun!! I’ll have to print this out and throw it in my recipe book for next time! :)
This is so different from my usual chocolate chip granola, and I love it! Me and raisins go together like butter on bread, so this is right up my alley! I spent a lot of yesterday making fun of Ronaldo and his crazy hair, but I later found out he shaved the lines on the side of his head to match the scar of a fan who had just had a brain tumor removed. Oh, and he paid for the surgery. That made me feel kind of bad about making fun of his vanity and excess grooming!
Cinnamon raisin is one of my favorite bagel flavors and I’m thinking that this granola probably tastes really similar! My mornings would probably be so much better if I had a big bowl of this to eat! I have to admit that I have never made my own granola before, but I think it is about time I do it! I need this in my life right now!
I just bought my first bag of hemp seeds a few weeks ago! This granola sounds awesome – I have everything in my pantry to make it except the corn flakes! I love your photos too – that pouring shot is awesome.
Definitely does look super yummy. I just made a coconut oil + maple syrup concoction last Monday and the house seriously smelt like french toast. Not a bad thing at all!
oh my gosh! I’m a major granola lover and I’ll take your word that this one is amazing! it sure looks it! Definitely going to give it a try :)
ok, I am not a granola lover, BUT this stuff looks amazing! :) lovely looking recipe Sarah! :) btw, I’ve been enjoying your wedding posts a ton!
Thanks Mercy! I was worried that I overdid it with the wedding posts so I really appreciate you saying that. :)
This is the best granola I’ve seen in a while. I’m pinning it!

I always am sorry I have no website to add :( I am just your faithful Florida follower who loves to cook and get new ideas!!
I just made your Honey Almond Chia Granola. I looked at the recent posting for the Superseed Cinnamon Granola. I took a few ingredients from this one to add to the first recipe but I have to say I was ‘shocked’ you would suggest corn flakes. I find NO health benefits to that!!! I would suggest Special K Protein cereal. The flakes are similar in shape to corn flakes but the taste has no comparison plus you are getting extra protein! Just a suggestion :) Keep up your good work! Hope your week end is going well. I took a cooking class Saturday at Sur LaTable on ‘Healthy Superfoods’. Talk about fun and informative!! Loved it.
Please don’t apologize for not having a website to enter! It’s just there if you want to but it doesn’t make a difference either way.
And thank you for the suggestion- I should clarify that I didn’t use Corn Flakes, I used Natures Path corn flakes, an organic, fruit juice sweetened cereal. It’s not the healthiest thing you could eat but it’s not bad if eaten in moderation. It really gives the granola an awesome texture too. But I do appreciate your suggestion and I’m so thankful to have you as a loyal reader! :)
I hope you’re keeping cool in FL!
